About Us

After an epiphany that coastal living is real living,  Kris and Lisa packed up the family and recipes and moved to beautiful Port Aransas. In May of 2005, they fulfilled their life long dream of opening a bistro two blocks from the beach. Lisabella's is a family affair. Kris is the chef and wine steward. Lisa is the chef and receipe guru. Spencer  is the chef de cusine. Luke is the sous chef. Louisa, Bear and Evalouise are menu consultants, and John is the future dining room manager.  The tall and debonair gentlemen running the dining room is Kelly, the talented brother-in-law.  The Amundsen's have hearts for hospitality and enjoying serving people.
